Hoppec PU 1002
Hoppec PU 1002 is a single-component polyurethane binder based on prepolymerized aromatic polyisocyanate, used as a transparent adhesive for rubber tiles. It offers high flexibility, exceptional durability, and excellent UV resistance, making it ideal for sustainable, long-lasting flooring solutions. It is also easy to apply, water-resistant, and eco-friendly.

Application Instructions
Mixing Ratio:
Mix 15–25% of the binder with 75–85% rubber granules, depending on need.
Preparation Steps:
1- Add PU 1001 binder to dry rubber granules in a clean, dry mechanical mixer.
2- The mixture cures gradually through reaction with moisture in the air.
3- Apply the mixture using a V-notch trowel on concrete or asphalt surfaces to create a smooth layer.
4- Full curing occurs within 20–48 hours of application.
5- Mix for 3–5 minutes until the binder is evenly distributed.
Surface Preparation:
1- A primer layer is advised before installation for even distribution and strong bonding.
2- The surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust, oil, and grease to ensure proper adhesion.
3- Application on wet surfaces is not recommended.
Tool & Equipment Cleaning
Clean tools using polyurethane solvent immediately after use to avoid material hardening.
Storage & Shelf Life
1- Store in tightly sealed containers for up to 9 months.
2- Keep in dry areas at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C, away from direct sunlight.
